Share the Word!

Sounds good...my family and I actually are Brookhills members. This church in Sylacauga is my in-laws. The pastor at Mignon read radical and changed his life...he met with David and other Brookhills church leaders to learn how to guide his church effectively through Radical book. Their church will have just finished Ch. 5 when Bullen come to speak. There will probably be between 200-300 in their congregation and the service will be televised and broadcasted over Talledega County. You are more than welcome to come along and spend the day with us...thought we could bring the guys back to my wife's parents for lunch and have the pastor's family over at the same time and visit. You are more than welcome to join or if you need to get back, we can take them home. Will touch base when gets closer. Ken

Voted!!!!!!

I have never dreamed that one day i will be going to vote for the future of my country. But God is so good in all his ways and have given us the time to decide for the future of our own country. As i am standing in line to vote i stared looking back in all that happen to me and my family during the times of war in Sudan. I find out the the tears are coming out of my eyes. All of my five brother died in this war and father as well. But thanks to God that i have voted for the future generations that are coming and they will not walk through the path that we have walked. Therefore, hope is not in the beginning but is in the end. Keeping your dreams and hope alive is great thing to do because one day it will come true.

New Year is here.

So much to thank God about. When i see all the things he had done for me in this past year. I pray in this year he will use me to impact nations for his glory. Also about my school i am so thankful to God that he has been so great to me and have provided for me to go to school and i do trust him that he will always gloryfy himself in my education. Nothing impossiable to God. Therefore let us fix our eye on Him not on man.

Sudan is heading to make a great history. This is going to be great for us as South Sudanese. I was able to go and register at referendum center so that i will be able to vote in upcoming referendum. This vote is going made history and will open doors for the people of South Sudan for the rest of their life. I want give praises to God who have made this to happen in Our Country. And He always keeps his promises. I have lost all of my brothers and my father as well in this constant war between Muslim and Christian and final it is our turn to be free so that we will glorify God. Can not wait for the voting day!!!!!!!!!

Dresses for Sudan!

Thank you so much Carol Brown and the Branches small group for working on these dresses for my village in Sudan. This will be a very good blessing for the children.

Ms Carol wants me to speak in the small group at BH and I am so excited!

I talked to Bill (my husband) and we would like for you and Boudan (sp?) to come speak to our class on Oct. 10th. If you could be there no later than 10:55 in modular 17. We told the class about it this morning and they are so excited about meeting you all.
Please let me know if this if O.K. I'll have all the dresses there that day, but we will take them by your house that afternoon. I want the class to see how many dresses were made by these women.
Now, the second group that is going November first week...Are they going to the same village? Just wondering about having any made by that trip.
If you think dresses have a way to get to Sudan throughout the year, we will continue to sew even after this group goes. Carol
